I'm a new business owner, a mom, and a wife, and I know firsthand how chaotic life can be. As I've started building my community here in Spokane and have fully embraced my "Auntie Era", I've noticed that many of us struggle with the sheer overwhelm of keeping up with family celebrations.
Have you felt this way too? Do you have so many nieces and nephews (or for some, grandkids) that remembering every birthday feels like a full-time job? Do you sometimes feel like you’re scrambling for gifts at the last minute, or that attending multiple birthday parties is just becoming too much? I know that feeling of wanting to do something special for all of your loved ones, but getting so stressed that it's easier to do nothing at all. Or worse, feeling guilty because you didn't manage to celebrate every single person. I've been there, and it's a feeling that can cause a lot of hurt feelings and dare I say it, resentment.
That's why when I was dreaming up The Plucky Duck, I knew I wanted to offer something more than just soap. I wanted to create a solution for this very problem.
What if we found a way to simplify celebrating? I got it!

The solution: Book a private party at The Plucky Duck. Imagine this, you pick one special day maybe a weekend during the summer or a cozy afternoon around the holidays and you invite all the special kids in your life to a single, fabulous, all-in celebration!
Instead of scrambling to buy a new toy for each child, you give them a gift that will last far longer than any trinket; a unique memory that they can carry with them for years!
Our workshops are a perfect blend of creativity, fun, and hands-on learning. Everyone gets to make their own unique soap, choosing their own scents, colors, and designs. It’s an activity that’s perfect for all ages and skill levels, so no one feels left out. The best part? They get to take home a beautiful, handmade creation as a reminder of the day.
This year, let's start a new tradition together. A private soap-making workshop at The Plucky Duck is more than just a party—it’s a chance to build memories, connect with the kids you love, and create a shared experience they'll cherish for years to come.
I would love to help you plan a truly special and unforgettable celebration that brings everyone together.
